Who Are We?
The founder of What Women Want (Australia) is Justine Caines.
Justine is a mother of seven and lives in rural NSW.
Since having children she has worked in the community sector. Her passion for improved maternity care has led her to be a driving force in the maternity reform movement, as a former president of Maternity Coalition and leading consumer health advocate.
Justine has a communications consultancy, Communication by Design and undertakes project work.
Prior to this Justine has worked as a mediator, an adviser, and a trade union organiser.
The response since the group formed has been overwhelming. We are now a registered political party with the Australian Electoral Commission. Already our members come from differing backgrounds, ages and interests. We are well on our way to representing What Women Want in Australia.
