2010 is an election year.  WWW is about to source candidates from across Australia and establish working groups in each state to provide the support and hard work needed to run an election campaign.

We would sincerely appreciate your time to assist us on polling day.  Unlike the major parties, we are self funded and cannot afford (and object to !) the millions spent on political advertising.

However your contributions will make a difference.

Ideas to support the campaign:

• Handing out How to Vote Cards for your local HOR and senate candidate/s
  
• Write in letters to the editor about the issues that affect you as women
• Make an appointment to speak with your local member and let them know what women want !
  
• Offer to leaflet or attend campaign launches or events
• Call or email one of our candidates to let them know how much you appreciate what they are doing (it takes enormous courage to put yourself on the front line !)
  
• Contact our National Campaign Co-ordinator if you would like to assist with the national campaign campaign@whatwomenwant.org.au
  
• We particularly need support for graphics, policy work, co-ordination of polling booths and internet campaign assistance - THANK YOU
